This year marks the 60th anniversary of TRIO Upward Bound on the WVU Tech campus, the longest-running, continuously funded TRIO Upward Bound program in West Virginia and one of the longest-running in the country.
One RBA graduate from WVU Tech is starting an exciting new journey this summer as
he enters medical school at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM).
As a student at Fayetteville High School, Cheyenne Wright had the opportunity to
attend the
Southern West Virginia Junior Nursing Academy, where she was able to learn
real-life nursing skills and participate in hands-on experiences.
For the third year in a row, West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech) has been awarded a Health Sciences and Technology Academy (HSTA) grant for 10th grade students. HSTA is a nationally recognized program in West Virginia that serves underrepresented high school students and encourages them to pursue careers in the STEM and health care industries.
