As a result of inclement weather in the surrounding area, West Virginia University Institute of Technology will be closing today, February 6, 2026 at 1:00PM.
WVU Tech on-campus operations will be closed and classes will be cancelled beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, due to winter weather. Only employees designated as essential should report to campus for their normal shifts. Employees designated as non-essential are not to report to work on campus or remotely. Non-essential employees currently on campus should leave to return home by 1:00 p.m.
