In celebration of Digital Learning Day today (Feb. 28), the Office of the Provost has announced the first faculty recipients of the university’s inaugural Digital Learning Awards. Recipients will receive a professional development honorarium and participate in a panel discussion on digital learning best practices at CELEBRATE in May.

Congratulations to the students who were honored with Dean’s or President’s List academic honors for the Fall 2018 term.
The President’s List honors students with an Institutional GPA for the term that is equal to 4.0. Students must have a term institutional GPA that falls between 3.50 and 3.99 to qualify for the Dean’s List. For either list, qualifying students must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of coursework and cannot have a “W” and “I.”

WVU LaunchLab in Beckley to host Idea Pitch Competition, Thursday, February 21
The WVU LaunchLab – Beckley is hosting an Idea Pitch Competition on Thursday, February 21 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Innovation Building, Room 101. Three students from Concord University and three from WVU Tech have been selected to conduct a four-minute pitch of a product or service to a panel of judges for a chance to win $5,000 in prize money to help them further develop their idea.
