WVU Tech joins WVU colleges and Extension Service for WVU Day at the Legislature

WVU Tech was among dozens of WVU campuses, colleges and departments at the Capitol complex in Charleston today for WVU and WVU Extension Service Day at the Legislature. Hundreds of 4-H students from throughout the state visited the complex for the day’s activities. They visited interactive booths, took their photo with the Mountaineer, signed a giant birthday card to help celebrate WVU’s 150th, sat in on legislative sessions and met with the presidents of WVU, WVU Tech and Potomac State College.

Engineering alumni gather in Charleston to kick off WV Expo

On Tuesday, March 21, alumni from WVU Tech engineering programs met at the Embassy Suites in Charleston for the annual Engineering Alumni Reception before the start of the West Virginia Construction and Design Expo. Attendees caught up with other alumni, spoke with current faculty members and heard from Campus President Carolyn Long, who provided an update on the university's transition to the Beckley Campus.

WVU Tech to host Golden Bear Weekend, an alumni and community celebration, on April 7-8

West Virginia University Institute of Technology will host Golden Bear Weekend on April 7-8, 2017. The celebration is a weekend of activities to honor notable alumni and connect with the community.

On Friday, April 7, WVU Tech alumni will meet at Bunker’s at Glade Springs for the Beckley chapter kickoff at 7 p.m. The chapter aims to serve WVU Tech alumni in counties throughout Southern West Virginia.
