Nathan Sainsbury, Psy.D.

Assistant Professor of Psychology

Dr. Sainsbury received his bachelors of arts degree in psychology from Capital University in 2007. He then was accepted and attended the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, where he received his master’s in clinical psychology degree in 2009 and his doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) in 2015. He has received extensive clinical training in various settings such as rural community mental health, psycho-social rehabilitation, DDID residential, private practice, and college counseling. His areas of expertise include personality spectrum disorders, anxiety spectrum disorders, schema theory and therapy, trauma, and emotional intelligence. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, farming, gardening, and playing electric guitar.
