As a result of inclement weather in the surrounding area, West Virginia University Institute of Technology will be on a two-hour delay for December 9, 2025.
WVU Tech will be closed from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Employees designated as essential should report to campus for their normal shifts. Employees designated as non-essential will begin work at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 9.
Employees who work remotely or on a hybrid schedule should not begin work until 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 9.
On-site employees should communicate with their supervisors to determine if they are required to work on site during the closure. The University will apply the Inclement Weather/Emergency Closure Compensation policy for on-site employees affected by the closure.
