WVU Tech Homecoming basketball games free to public Saturday
West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech) is inviting everyone in the community to their Homecoming basketball games on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center. The games are free and open to the public thanks to Tech’s Communiversity partner, Pendleton Community Bank (PCB).
Doors open at noon for games, prizes and giveaways.
The women’s basketball game begins at 1:00 p.m., and the men’s game will begin at 3:00 p.m. Prior to the women’s game, Alumni of the Year and Nelson Distinguished Young Alumni awardees will be recognized. During halftime of the women’s game, the Golden Bear Empowerment Faculty awardee, Tech Golden Bear Alumni Association Outstanding Alumni awardees, and the Presidential awardee will be recognized.
Prior to the
men’s game, Athletic Hall of Fame and Golden Alumni will be recognized. Golden
Bear Homecoming Royalty will be announced at halftime of the men’s game.
