WVU Tech to host ten-day virtual 'Roaring Twenties' Homecoming

Homecoming 2020

The WVU Tech community will celebrate its annual Homecoming from Wednesday, October 21 through Saturday, October 31 with a series of both traditional and new events for the entire community.

Students will compete in the annual Campus Cup challenge throughout Homecoming and Mr. and Ms. Golden Bear will be crowned on Thursday, October 9.

The community is invited to watch live-streamed athletics and sports events, submit their entry in a weeklong costume contest and participate in the Homecoming Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win a variety of WVU Tech prizes.

For the first time in its Homecoming history, the University will host a Rocket League video game tournament on Wednesday, October 28.

Campus President Carolyn Long will deliver the annual State of Tech Address on Thursday, October 29 via Zoom.

On Friday, October 30, the community is invited to join the Golden Bears for a digital celebration with a live show from DJEJ beginning on Twitch at 8:00 p.m.

And, finally, community businesses and organizations are encouraged to submit a video for inclusion in WVU Tech's virtual Homecoming parade, which will run on Facebook and YouTube on Saturday, October 31.
