Golden Bears brave the cold with warm hearts on MLK Day of Service

Hundreds of student and staff volunteers stand on Neville street in Beckley, proudly displaying the WVU Tech flag, wisps of snow swirling around them and obvious cheer in their hearts.

On Monday, January 20, more than 250 students, staff and faculty took to Beckley and beyond in honor of MLK Day of Service. The group logged 1,170 hours of service, impacting organizations who help with the poor, the hungry, the disaster-impacted and K-12 children.

Check out videos, local media stories and photos from the cold day's heartwarming service activities.
