What is the Launch Lab?
The WVU Tech Launch Lab is a resource center for students, faculty and staff who
want to launch a new business or product. It is a collaboration with the
WV Hive, the entrepreneurship program of the New River Gorge Regional Development
Authority.

The Launch Lab at WVU Tech can help you bring your ideas and designs to life. Register
online and you will be contacted to discuss your needs. Get started today and take
the first step toward making your dream a reality! Our services are free
* for current students, faculty and staff of WVU Tech.
*Minimal cost associated with some trainings and supplies.

One-on-one business advising through the WV hive
- Meeting spaces for start-up teams and networking with other entrepreneurs

Business idea competitions where students, faculty and staff can pitch their ideas and earn funding to help reach their goals

Connection to campus resources, as well as resources from WVU and the WV Hive

Makerspace at the WV Hive where students, faculty and staff can access equipment and tools to make 3D models and prototypes of their designs
- Classroom space for meetings and instruction
- Skills development/enhancement workshops
