WVU Tech College of Engineering to Host Annual Engineering Expo

Montgomery, WV – WVU Institute of Technology Leonard C. Nelson College of Engineering will host the annual Engineering Expo on Tuesday, October 24, 2006, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

All high school students within their Junior or Senior year are invited to visit with WVU Tech’s students, faculty, and staff and explore the various engineering departments including Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mining Engineering as well as institution facilities. Students will participate in hands-on experiments, engage in competitions, view demonstrations, and learn about lucrative careers in these areas. Guided tours and informal sessions will be available, and lunch will be provided by the institution.
