If you wish to join WVUIT ASCE please visit the ASCE
office on the 5th floor of the Engineering building or contact one of the officers.
To speed up your registration process, please print and fill out the
ASCE Student Membership before
your visit.Should I Join?
YES! You can only benefit from being a member. ASCE is a national society and
offers many benefits and opportunities for you to meet people and businesses in
your field of study. Not only do we compete in many competitions but we also
have campus events and benefits such as our ASCE Fall Technical Conference, ASCE lounge, picnics, outings,
parties, etc...

I'm a freshman, will I be involved?
Well first off, Freshmen membership is FREE! We are always excited to get
new members including freshmen because you are the future of ASCE. You are
welcome to join in almost all of our events and competitions. This is a great
way to meet upperclassmen, make friends, and learn at the same time.
How much does it cost?
Incoming Freshman are FREE! Each following semester is only $5 a
semester. Some trips and events require a refundable deposit
or small fee. We also have other outings in which we have been offered discounts
such as whitewater rafting and skiing.
Am I required to do anything?
You are not required to participate but participation is encouraged and also
fun. Participation is required for traveling events. A list of events is issued
prior to each trip where you are able to sign up.
