Home-schooled Student Admissions

WVU Tech will accept applications from home-schooled individuals and those graduating from non-accredited high schools. A completed undergraduate application, SAT or ACT test scores and following requirement must be submitted.

A typed manuscript or description of class background, broken down by 9th thru 12th grade years, must be submitted. This documentation must include:

• The student’s name.

• A list and description of courses completed.

• Grades earned for the courses completed.

• The number of credits earned for each course.

• Signature of curriculum administrator

Required Units

The following high school unit requirements must be met for freshman admission through Spring 2007:

• 4 units of English

• 3 units of Social Studies

• 3 units of Mathematics (Algebra I or higher)

• 3 units of Lab Sciences (two of three must be laboratory science)
