Athletics, Activities & Intramural Sports

At WVU Tech we are committed to providing an education that extends beyond classroom learning. Extracurricular activities allow students to develop leadership and social skills while experiencing university life.

WVU Tech is a member of the National Athletic Intercollegiate Association (NAIA) Division 1 and will compete in the Mid-South Conference. Currently, WVU Tech sponsors 11 intercollegiate varsity sports and three junior varsity sports. Approximately ten percent of the student body competes on the varsity level.

Many students participate in the intramural sports program. The program offers league sports and tournaments including: flag football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball, and many others.
