Student Admissions
All applications for admission are processed on a rolling decision basis. Students with a B average or higher will be notified upon receipt of their sixth semester high school transcripts and ACT or SAT scores. All other students will be notified upon receipt of their seventh semester or final transcript and ACT or SAT scores.
To be considered for admission, applicants must have successfully completed the following units:
• 4 units of English
• 3 units of Social Studies, including US History
• 1 unit of Art
• 2 units of foreign languages, two units of the same language
• 4 units of Mathematics (Algebra I & higher)
• 3 units of Science (All must be laboratory scineces)
Minimum Grade Point Average: 2.0
Minimum ACT Score: 17
Minimum SAT Score: 830
Students who lack one or more of these requirements may elect to enter the Community and Technical College at WVU Tech.

The ACT code number for WVU Tech is 4536; the SAT code number is 5902. List WVU Tech as a score recipient when you register for the test.
