West Virginia University Institute of Technology is accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Student Right-To-Know and Campus Security Act

On November 8, 1990, the Student Right-To Know and Campus Security Act was signed into federal law. This Act requires institutions to produce and make available annually the completion or graduation rate of first-time, full-time, certificate/degree seeking undergraduates. Graduation rates for all West Virginia public higher education institutions are published in the West Virginia Higher Education Report Card which is available at any of the public colleges and universities and at the main public libraries throughout the State.
